WHO DO I COACH?
You’re part-professional AND part-free spirit.
You’re ambitious AND you care about the world.
But you find yourself over-thinking and overworrying. Procrastination and your inner critic frequently stop you from doing the stuff you know is important and meaningful.
Maybe you have an existing meditative practice that you find supportive and nourishing and you want it to more fully inform and guide how you work, lead and live?
Maybe you’re intrigued by this mindfulness malarkey that you keep hearing about and you want to learn more?
Having a meditative practice helps us tap into our inner wisdom.
Coaching draws out that wisdom and converts it into wise, skilful action.
You can create both professional success AND personal fulfilment.
WHAT MIGHT CHANGE AS A RESULT OF OUR WORK TOGETHER?
Imagine a life where you have:
• Clarity: You are able to think clearly and compassionately, resulting in new perspectives and wise decisions.
• Creativity: You have both the headspace and heartspace that allow innovative approaches to emerge.
• Courage: You are committed to doing what’s right, rather than just what’s easy, and you are willing to engage fully and wholeheartedly with life.
Our work together will result in you working, leading and living more freely and in closer alignment with what you value most.
WHAT IS MY APPROACH TO COACHING?
Coaching is a dialogue in which you feel heard and feel felt and you get new insights into your own stuff that lead to significant and long-lasting change.
My coaching philosophy focuses on relationality: how we relate to ourselves, others and the world. We are all interconnected and interdependent. I hold you centre-stage in our coaching work together. In our coaching space, everything revolves around and ripples out from you, as we explore the impact you have on yourself, your team / family, organisation and society.
Mindfulness is the foundation and container for how I coach. During each coaching session I am fully present non-judgementally. I am grounded with equanimity and am openly compassionate.
That doesn’t mean that I won’t challenge you. I most definitely will! It does mean that working with me, you can say anything out loud and that you can dare to be bold!
WHO AM I?
Before setting up Govani Coaching, I was an employee at PwC, Goldman Sachs and BlackRock. I understand the pressures of high calibre people working at high calibre organisations.
The purpose of all my work, is to help us live with more ease. I want us to be at ease amidst change, uncertainty and demanding work and home environments. We think better when we’re at ease; we make better, wiser decisions, the impacts of which ripple out into the world.
By ease, I don’t mean reclining on a sun-lounger drinking cocktails (although that is enjoyable). For me, living with mindful ease is about how I choose to be in any given moment. It’s not about passively being swept along by the current. It means knowing when to push, when to pull and when to allow. I set the intention every day to be non-reactive, non-defensive and non-judgemental as best I can. I try to have boundless kindness, compassion and equanimity.
I want us to remember that we’re all human beings. Especially with the advent of artificial intelligence and hybrid working, our human-to human connections are so important. I want to transform the ways we work, lead and live through mindful, heartful connection.
It takes great courage to do this deep inner work. If this brings both excitement and nervousness, contact me to start the conversation. We will schedule a free 60-minute coaching session where I will serve you to the best of my abilities. If we then decide to work together, great! If not, hopefully I will have served you powerfully and galvanised you to make change in your life.
