I passionately teach and facilitate at one of the world’s prestigious coaching schools, the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), as a global Lead Trainer and as a mentor coach, along with having a thriving private coaching practice in Leadership Development, Life & Mindset Coaching where I support and align my executive clients’ authentic WHO to become all that they can to impact their company and the world around them.
Born in Tokyo and raised by a family of successful business leaders, entrepreneurs, and educators, I’ve relocated over 32 times across 23 cities in Asia, EU, and US. Having seen the world filled with opportunities, I explored life to the fullest and left the corporate world after 4 years to establish my own business. I thrived on running a dance school as a professional salsa dancer and building a bilingual emcee, radio host, and interpreter career while teaching languages to private students.
All that came to a halt after I got married and moved to a foreign city where I slowly stopped recognizing who I was. I found myself alone in a misaligned relationship where I mentally and emotionally numbed myself to cope. Then an incredible spiritual intervention resuscitated me, and I returned to Japan to restart my life at age 33. With literally nothing to my name, I reflected, redefined, and realigned to embrace a new reality of hope.
I headed back to the US again, this time to Los Angeles. In 2016, I was hit by a car as a pedestrian, and coupled with toxic corporate workplace drama, I spiraled again and hit rock bottom. I knew I still had some inner deep work to do, so I asked for help this time. When I experienced firsthand the transformative power of coaching, I invested in myself without hesitation and became certified. I left my corporate career to embark on this journey which I now call my lifework. It’s a daily work-in-progress to be unapologetic and authentic but a non-negotiable to do the work I do. No matter how tough it can be, I wouldn’t trade it for the world, as every day I share doing what I love, lead with and cherish what I believe in.
